Gym Rental

The gym at the JCC of Bayonne is a full-size regulation facility with 4 adjustable backboards and hardwood flooring.

Monday - Friday after 4:30pm

Weekends from 9am - 4pm

$100 - 125 per hour for full gym

1. Booking and Payment:

Gym rentals must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
A security deposit of $200 must be paid with first payment.
Full payment is required one week prior to court time.
Accepted forms of payment are cash or credit cards. If a credit card is declined for rental, a $25.00 fee is charged.
Any payment made before cancellation notice is non-transferable and non-refundable.

2. Certificate of Insurance (COI) Policy:

Renter must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the JCC of Bayonne as additional insured.

3. Time Allotment:

Rentals are allotted specific time slots. Groups must arrive and depart within 5 minutes of their allotted time to ensure a smooth transition between sessions.

4. Access and Entrance:

Users must use the 45th Street side door entrance for gym rentals.
Users are permitted access to the gymnasium and the restrooms immediately outside the gym only.
Users are not permitted to congregate in lobby or access any other room or area in the building, including the basement and 2nd floor.
There are no locker/changing rooms.

5. Equipment Usage:

Users are responsible for providing all sports equipment other than basketball hoops.
Users are responsible for the proper use and care of the gym during their rental period.
Any damage caused by negligence will result in additional charges.

6. Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Users are required to “dress” to play. Restrooms are available but not for changing.
Dispose of any waste in the designated bins.

7. Security and Safety:

There is a security guard on premises.
Users are responsible for their personal belongings. The JCC of Bayonne is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

8. Code of Conduct:

Respectful and appropriate behavior is expected at all times.
Any form of harassment or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund.

9. Compliance with Rules:

Users must comply with all posted rules and regulations within the gym premises.
Failure to comply may result in the termination of the rental and future booking privileges without a refund.

10. Liability:

Users participate in gym rentals at their own risk. The JCC of Bayonne is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the rental period.

11. Modification of Terms:

The JCC of Bayonne reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes in advance.
